Excellence Network Coordinator - circa £27,000 (pro rata) 
South West region

SCEN invites applications for a UK Network Coordinator to start in May or June 2010. 

It is anticipated that the post holder will start in May or June 2010; the contract will be offered for 1 year on the basis of 25 hours per week, and secondments will be considered. The post holder will be based in the South West region with a willingness to balance working from home and / or ‘hot desking’ at a convenient locale with travel to Creating Excellence’s office in Taunton.

We are looking for a committed and effective individual to coordinate the Sustainable Communities Excellence Network (SCEN) and its members through effective facilitation, communications and strategic working. SCEN members include the Regional Centres of Excellence for Sustainable Communities (RCEs), Urban Design London, the Scottish Centre for Regeneration, the Centre for Regeneration Excellence Wales, the Regeneration Skills Collective Wales and member contacts in Northern Ireland and other English regions; as well as Network stakeholders.

The Coordinator will work to an agreed work plan with the Chair of the Excellence Network, a Line Manager at Creating Excellence, Member Directors and their staff to facilitate joint working and help ensure effective communication, policy development and delivery.
